Riverton tracked trailers on a whiteboard and a shared drive. We built yard management software for check-in, location, dwell, and gate moves that the night crew will actually use.
The operational problem
Nobody could say how many trailers were in the yard without walking it. Customers called about equipment the board still showed as on-site.
Dwell fees and missed hookups were a margin problem disguised as a radio problem.

We designed for a gate clerk and a hostler, not a dispatcher with a mouse. Fast check-in, big buttons, and a map that matches how the yard is actually painted.

- Gate check-in with carrier and trailer ID
- Zone map the hostler updates from a phone
- Dwell alerts for trailers past the agreed hours
- Customer view of their equipment only
